THE SAGITTARIO RIVER
A riverside walk
Slow Rafting is the title which “Il Bosso” likes to give to the new activity promoted in collaboration with the Municipality of Popoli and other towns of the Valle Peligna.
The location is in the Valle Peligna, at the foot hills of the Morrone along the Sagittario River including the stretch between Pratola Peligna and Popoli. A sport which is not well known, with only a few rules and tight spaces to share. The emotion of the descent into the stream, with everyone’s feelings, laughs between friends and the beautiful panorama of the Valle, make up this new thrilling activity: #ilbosso SLOW RAFTING a combination of experiences which guarantees success and also guarantees a strong attraction to the area.
The Sagittario River, located within the stretch of Pratola Peligna (AQ) is a river which presents very few difficulties. Rafting along this kind of river is a perfect activity for families and children but is also ideal for those who wish to combine sport and nature observation. All of this is perfect to break away from the daily routine.
To practise this sport, you only need to be dynamic and have a good rapport with streams
to fully enjoy this exciting adventure.
