We collaborate with public and private institutions, associations and schools by implementing projects to spread environmental awareness and sustainable development. Il Centro Turistico e Formativo Valle del Tirino
The Centro Turistico e Formativo Valle del Tirino lies in Capodacqua, Capestrano, within the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park. The newest headquarters of the group “Il Bosso” is meant to welcome tourists, schoolchildren and everyone who wants to learn about the cultural and natural heritage of Abruzzo.
The building includes an information point and a food service which offers the opportunity of having a meal on a wide terrace with a suggestive view of the Tirino valley. You can also find an Environmental Education Centre and a Vocational Training Centre, approved by the Abruzzo Region.
A team of experts will escort you to extraordinary excursions along the river Tirino by canoe or kayak, enogastronomic excursions by mountain bike and e-bike, nordic walking and hiking excursions or environmental education and team building experiences.
