HISTORY AND TRADITIONS TOUR
From the village of Castel del Monte, located at the foot of the Gran Sasso we will discover characteristic medieval villages among the most beautiful in Italy. We will reach Calascio and its enchanting fortress, the highest in the central Apennines! This is a magical place, characterized by suggestive mountain peaks and wide valleys, here the silence is broken only by the breath of wind blowing. The tour continues and arrives at the medieval village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, a small treasure of Abruzzo where man and nature have coexisted for centuries. At the end of the activity we will visit the village of Castel del Monte, to experience a real journey through time, between history and traditions closely linked to to the life of the shepherds.
